Caremed Alrick is a customer driven healthcare equipment supplier, designing and manufacturing elegant, functional healthcare furniture in Australia. We specialise in healthcare furniture that enhances the lives of residents in acute aged and high-dependency care environments.

We have been working since 1986 to create furniture for customers of all ages that exceeds clinical and OHS standards while bringing a soft and comfortable ambience to their rooms.

Everything we create is tested in-house to ensure it meets the Caremed Standard – one that exceeds TGA and Australian Standards.

We manufacture and sell our products both through distributors and direct to larger customers – our commitment is to provide you with superior levels of service and reliability.

Caremed Alrick has had an unwavering commitment to quality since it was established in 1986. Each of our products is designed to deliver 15 to 20 years of reliable service and, if anything does go wrong, they’re backed by local service teams and spare parts inventories. But quality is not all about functions and features – we also design our products to fit into their surroundings naturally.

Our history

Caremed is an Australian, family-owned company. We started in the Healthcare industry in 1986 and quickly developed partnerships in the UK and New Zealand. Our local presence and focus help us to truly understand our local users and how they use our products. It also helps us to better understand the imperatives behind government and procurement contractual requirements. In July 2000 we delivered the first Alrick designed and manufactured healthcare beds to the local Condobolin hospital.

Everything we make is tested in our in-house testing facility to ensure that it exceeds Australian and international standards and we can boast 20 years of reliable service.
